Through our merger with the internationally renowned trademark firm Dunner Law PLLC, our firm is one of the few firms vetted and trusted by Amazon.com for its IP Accelerator and Brand Registry Program.  The Brand Registry Program provides significant benefits to those companies that enroll, including removal of other business listings that may harm your brand, making it easier to report violations and infringement, and other features designed to help small businesses enhance their content and product pages.  To truly obtain all of the benefits of the Program, however, participants should file a trademark application through one of the Amazon-recommended firms like ours.

Our attorneys have decades of collective experience filing and handling trademark applications.  We offer competitive pricing for our services, and we have a strong entrepreneurial focus, so we understand the needs and concerns of startups.  Here is how the process works:

  1. Fee Information: Once you submit an inquiry via IP Accelerator, we will respond with cost information and send you a link to our Questionnaire to learn more about your brand and your business on Amazon.
  2. Questionnaire:  You complete this questionnaire and return it for our review; this expedites the process and helps us better understand your brand and business.
  3. Specific Cost Breakdown:  We will provide you with a specific quote and, upon your approval, send you a link for payment.
  4. Conflict Check:  Once you decide to retain our firm, we run a quick conflict check to ensure that our representation of you does not conflict with any of our current clients.
  5. Retainer Agreement and Fee:  Once conflicts are cleared, we will send you our standard Retainer Agreement for your review and execution and payment; because we offer heavily discounted pricing, we require upfront payment for our services and related expenses for each application.
  6. Clearance: Though it is not required, we strongly advise that you order a clearance search as it would be a shame to file an application only to find it blocked by another business that filed before you did. The “knockout” clearance search (additional fee of $450) looks for any obvious obstacles to your application, or you can order a comprehensive search (additional fee of $1,800), which is the most thorough and best way to proceed knowing that you have chosen a brand that should not run into any obstacles on its way towards registration.
  7. Filing:  We will prepare your application and send you a link to review and e-sign it; we will then file it with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO), report the filing to Amazon, and provide you with a Serial Number that you can use to enroll in the Brand Registry Program; you may enroll four business days after we file your trademark application.
  8. Brand Registry Enrollment:  Amazon will take it from there and enroll you in the Program; once enrolled you will have immediate access to all of its benefits.
  9. USPTO Examination: Approximately 9-12 months after filing, your trademark application will be reviewed by a USPTO Examiner, and we will follow up with you if there are any additional steps that need to be taken; you still will enjoy the Brand Registry Program benefits during this process.
